Why Test at Home

Home Buyers, Property Owners, Landlords and Renters:
Every one of you should have a vested interest in making sure the property is safe for habitation.
Home Buyers and Renters
Don't wait until you have moved in to see if the property is safe. If buying a home or renting an unit/apartment, make your offer to purchase contingent upon a clean drug contamination test. Just because an apartment is clean, has been painted don't assume it is safe from any contamination. It is costly and damaging to live in a drug contaminated home or unit/apartment, for you, your family and your future financial well-being.
Testing a property BEFORE buying or renting can save your health and protect the single largest investment most people make in their lifetime.
Property owners and Landlords
Wouldn't you want to know if the property you're buying has been used as a drug house? Are you as the landlord or property owner ready to handle the liability and lawsuits, which can occur by having renters live in such unsafe conditions? Ignorance is not a good defense. When buying a property or when renters vacate a property it would be a wise move to do a simple meth drug test to see if it is still a safe home or unit/apartment.
It is what you can't see that could make you sick or cause the death of a loved one. Meth can be embedded into all porous surfaces where just a simple clean doesn't help.
Second hand meth can make a person sick and can KILL!
Just because the property looks clean from meth and has recently been painted, has new or cleaned carpets don't assume it is safe from methamphetamine and ok to live in. If there has been drug use, been a previous meth lab or has had meth smoke, it could be very costly and very damaging to your family's heath. To live in a meth drug contaminated home or unit/apartment could be deadly to you or your family.
Because meth is relatively inexpensive and easy to produce, residential meth labs are a serious problem. Once a property has been contaminated by meth production or usage, it remains that way until the property is professionally decontaminated. Meth is not something to be taken lightly. It is a dangerous drug and meth residue can and will stay around for years. Meth contamination usually kills slowly.
Australian guidelines state that the presence of methylamphetamine on inside surfaces at a level of greater than 0.5 micrograms per 100cm2 is unacceptable
